bios-

Liv Barrett grew up in Hong Kong and Beijing, there are rumored to be photos of her in front seriously pissed off students in Tiananmen Square the day before the massacre took place, with an effigy of justice being beaten in the background. Liv  is an independent writer for SPEECH blog, board member for TCB art inc. in Melbourne, works at ACCA and has  spent time writing for a high-society magazine in Singapore which she didn’t like. Writing for exhibition catalogues is also a top pastime for Liv, along with getting her hair 'did, reading, supporting Manchester United and getting weak at the knees for Bees.

Born in California in 1984, James Deutsher lives in Melbourne. He studied at the VCA and has exhibited in various group and solo shows, showed at CLUBS projects, WestSpace, Gertrude Contemporary Art Space, CCP and TCB in Melbourne, with Hao Guo and p-10 curatorial team in Singapore, with Chris L G Hill at Enjoy Public Art Gallery, Wellington, New Zealand and at Joint Hassles for ‘SD&C’. James watches and plays football, cuts his hair and reads a lot, but doesn't remember much.
